Impact of No-Tillage on Soil Invertebrate Communities in the Southern Forest Steppe of West Siberia: Preliminary Research
نویسندگان
چکیده
The aim of our study is to assess changes in soil macroinvertebrate biodiversity when conventional tillage (CT) replaced by no-tillage (NT) agroecosystems the southern part West Siberian forest steppe. research was conducted Novosibirsk region at end May 2017, 2018, and June 2018. agricultural plots with CT NT were located close each other on identical soils, a distance about 200 m from nearest shelterbelts. technology has been applied experimental plot since 2007. Sampling invertebrates two ways, namely sampling pitfall trapping. majority basic physicochemical properties same or similar between plots. However, depending type tillage, different invertebrate communities had already developed control during this time. community includes large number flying predatory Carabidae species typical early successional stages (such as Bembidion properans B. quadrimaculatum, Poecilus spp.) phytophages, i.e., larvae Elateridae. significantly higher density richness earthworms (Eisenia nordenskioldi synanthropic E. fetida versus one individual plot). richer more abundant assemblage spiders (especially spring) poor insect predators (except for superdominant ground beetle cupreus subdominant P. versicolor summer 2018). Large numbers some carabids (e.g., Amara consularis) found soil, suggesting that they complete full life cycle habitat.
